On May 4th, Ackurat opens its doors to the public for an exciting open house event. You will get a unique insight into the manufacturing of injection-moulded plastic parts and much more.
A day filled with industrial innovation
As part of a larger initiative involving several Lammhult companies, we offer visitors the chance to explore the world of injection moulding. It will be a day full of creativity and exciting experiences in modern manufacturing where local companies demonstrate welding, metal and wood milling, forging, laminating, and assembly.
Plastic parts for Europe’s furniture industry
We manufacture small plastic components for Europe’s furniture industry and Swedish industry in general, and during the day we will showcase our expertise in plastic part manufacturing. As a visitor, you will get an insight into the production process and have the chance to take home a small souvenir from the visit.
Have som "fika", mingle, and enjoy
In addition to the informative part of the day, Ackurat offers "fika" (coffee/tea/cordial and something sweet to go with it). Take the opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee, ask questions - we are here for you!
This armrest is designed to fit closed tubes. It comes in two lengths and fits five tube dimensions. In addition to its elegant design, it is easy to mount and follows Möbelfakta’s recommendations as it is removable, replaceable, recyclable, and protects against skin contact with, for example, chrome.
Our product, originally designed to be used as an armrest, has proven to be very versatile thanks to our customers’ creative ideas. One suggestion was to use it as a footrest on bar stools, adding a touch of comfort and style.
Dare to be creative.
We have just welcomed a new addition to our machinery - a new felting machine! Our MD, Fredric Fagerberg, cut the ribbon and the entire Ackurat team celebrated with streamers, balloons, and toast with soda. Our new machine is custom-made and robust, specifically designed to manufacture felt foot caps for furniture legs. The foot caps are also made of 50% recycled PET.
Many want to create a better sound environment by reducing noise with the help of foot caps while protecting floors from scratches. Now our production capacity increases to meet the significantly increased demand.

We introduce our latest innovation in furniture accessories - round foot plugs with ribs and reinforced foot surface. These versatile plugs are perfect for both furniture and store fixtures, offering a combination of functionality and durability.
Adaptable Design for Various Needs
Our new foot plugs are designed to fit several tube dimensions, making them a flexible solution. The plugs come in two variants, one of which offers higher friction for increased stability on smooth surfaces. We recommend using them in combination with our tube wheels, CS-011.
Sustainability in Focus
In line with our commitment to sustainability, these foot plugs are designed to be removable, replaceable, and recyclable. This contributes to a more circular furniture industry and reduces environmental impact over time.
Applications and Limitations
While the plugs are ideal for most furniture and store fixtures, they are less suitable for holes with sharp edges or where shape variations may occur. We recommend assessing the application area carefully for the best results.
