The setter with a great interest in machines and tools
Ali Abdulwahid is a person with a passion for machines and tools, always seeking new challenges. For 9 years, he has worked as a setter at Ackurat, where he installs tools in machines and fixes what breaks.
What does Ali think about working at Ackurat?
Ali likes challenges and took the step to train as a setter, which paid off, and today he works as a setter at Ackurat. He loves working with machines and tools and talks about his work with a big smile.
I really enjoy test runs of new materials and products! Plastic can be shaped in so many different ways – and there is so much happening in development, like bio-plastics.
He continues, “It’s a plus when you have interesting tasks and also get along very well with colleagues.” Ali works the night shift, which suits him as a night owl and also gives him more time with his family.
Interests outside of work
Besides working at Ackurat, Ali loves to travel and spend time with family and friends. Football is a big interest, even though he no longer plays himself, and he likes to travel abroad to watch football matches a couple of times a year. Recently, he was in Spain with his friend Ammar.
Ali previously worked as an electrician/electrical installer in Växjö but sought out Ackurat to work more with machines and tools.
